Dear parents & carers,
As you will be aware, we move to Step 3 of the Prime Minister's roadmap out of the COVID-19 pandemic on Monday 17th May.
From that day, there will no longer be a requirement for all adults to wear a face-covering on the premises when outdoors - so, when dropping off or collecting children, from Monday, you need not wear a face-covering. The staggered start/finish times remain in place until the end of the academic year. The results of the consultation regarding the continued use of the one-way system will be released once it ends but do please make your voice heard by participating in it.
In class, teachers and support staff need not wear face-coverings either but must do at other times when meeting others indoors if 2m social distancing is not possible to maintain. If you attend school for a meeting with anyone, you may therefore be asked to wear a face-covering if the meeting is indoors.
For the time-being, all adults can still opt to wear a face-covering around school, from Monday, if personal circumstances mean it remains prudent for them.
In closing, I would like to thank everyone who has respected the face-covering requirements of the school, thereby keeping our wider population as safe as can be.
Richard D Rhodes
