Arjun & Anirudh's 100 miles around Maidenhead for NHS Charities Together

The Year 3 twins Arjun & Anirudh had great plans to celebrate their 8th birthday on June 9th 2020. However, the pandemic situation changed everything.

Having contributed part of their pocket money to Captain Tom's NHS charity fund, they realised how our small deeds can also make a difference. Hence, they want to contribute more money to the NHS instead of celebrating their birthday with gifts. Their parents have often reminded them how the NHS had played a vital role in their birth. Being identical twins, they were born prematurely and needed extra care in the NICU/SCBU for 17 days. Without the great care of NHS staff, they wouldn't have been having a happy and healthy life now.

To thank all the good work of each and every NHS staff member, they are saying "no" to birthday gifts and, instead, are running/walking for 100 miles around Maidenhead, from 1st to 30th of June. They hope you will encourage and support them in their fundraising which they hope will benefit many others at this difficult time. If you see them, give them a cheer of encouragement and, if you can, make a contribution to their cause.
