IMPORTANT MEETING
ALL SAINTS & BOYNE HILL SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION
Annual General Meeting and Special General Meeting
On 11th October from 3:30pm-4:00pm
At All Saints Junior School
Refreshments will be served
AGENDA
Following the written request of 20 members, in accordance with the constitution, the committee is seeking approval to dissolve the current joint schools association so that each school focuses on its own fund raising endeavours in order to plan more age appropriate activities and events. The two schools will of course, continue working closely together.
If the resolution is agreed, it is proposed that Boyne Hill members will adopt a new constitution and seek approval from the Charities Commission to gain charitable status.
All Saints will consult the school community of parents, carers and staff regarding what kind of parent/teacher collaborative model suits it best. In the short-term, fund-raising and social initiatives will be originated by school leaders with parents/carers approached to support the initiatives in ways which work for them, such as volunteering time to help at events like the Community Day.
