Dear parents, carers & children,
Everyone in school is hoping that you and your families are keeping safe and well during the lockdown.
It has been wonderful to see how well many families are supporting each other at home, with school work and in many other ways. Classroom staff have been very impressed with what has been shared on ClassDojo and the feedback from people who have seen the newsletter, and the great things being celebrated there, has been really positive. Keep it all up as best you can.
As with many of you, I watched the Prime Minister’s statement on Sunday and am waiting for the DfE to publish its specific guidance to build on what was said yesterday.
Please be assured that my colleagues and I are striving to put together a plan to keep everyone as safe as possible in and around school.
We will be following Government instructions, NHS and Public Health England guidelines, as well as guidance from the Local Authority and teaching unions to ensure everyone - pupils, staff and parents - are as safe as possible in school and its grounds.
I will keep you posted with details as they become available. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to avoid gossip and speculation online and in the media: what is relevant to the community of All Saints Junior School will be published through our official channels (here on the school website and ClassDojo, as well as our email, text and Twitter feeds) and nowhere else.
Your continued patience, tolerance and understanding is greatly appreciated by us all.
