All Saints Church of England Junior School

Loving All Our Neighbours

Admission Arrangements

Admissions

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) controls admissions for Church of England Voluntary Controlled Schools, including All Saints CE Junior School. The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is now delivering its school admissions service through Achieving for Children, a community interest company set up in partnership with the Royal Borough of Kingston and London Borough of Richmond.  Applications must be made via them.

A copy of the Borough's latest policy may be obtained from the School Admissions team on the RBWM website: www.rbwm.gov.uk or by calling 01628 683870.

September 2020 entry

The opening date for applications for entry into junior schools is TBC. Applications should be made online and can be amended up until applications close at midday on TBC. You can access the online system on National Offer day to view the outcome of your application.

Junior School Admissions

We take children who are due to join junior school from the beginning of Year 3. Pupils applying for Year 3 entry in September 2020 must be born between 01/09/2011 and 31/08/2012.

Application Process

Applications for a school place must be made through your home authority - this is the council where you live and to which you pay council tax. Residents can apply for non-Royal Borough schools using this application process.

Please note: The online system will not be available for primary school applications before the opening date (1 November 2018).  Any applications submitted before this date will be disregarded.

In-Year Transfers

We are also happy to consider in-year applications. You can apply for an in-year transfer if you would like your child to join us outside the normal application round.  This normally applies if:

  • You have moved into the area and do not currently have a school place for your child;
  • You have moved within the area and want to transfer your child to a closer school;
  • You have recently moved to the UK from abroad; or
  • You wish to transfer your child from their current school to another school for any other reason.

The following links takes you to the relevant pages of RBWM's website and the online application form for making a transfer of a child into the school:
