The Scheme of Work we use for PSHE & Citizenship is Jigsaw PSHE: it brings together Personal, Social, Health and Economic education, emotional literacy, social skills and spiritual development in a lesson-a-week programme with mindfulness at its core.

The Scheme of Work, its contents and the mindfulness approach are explained here:

PSHE Theme For This Half Term

Every class will be having PSHE lessons with the theme 'Relationships' this half term (Summer 1).

             Thank You NSPCC!

The NSPCC charity visited us this year with their mascot, Buddy, to remind us to 'Speak out and stay safe'.

Year 5 and 6 even took part in some work shops to further our learning on this.

We've all learnt about the different types of abuse and how to protect ourselves!

To say a big thanks to the NSPCC, we will raised money for them at our Junior Games event.

A year 5 PSHE lesson in action: to understand the importance of keeping calm in an emergency. We even had a go at the recovery position!
