We are looking for a vibrant multi-tasker to fulfil the exciting new role of PA to the Senior Leadership Team and Clerk to the Governors.
Primarily, you would be supporting the Head teacher and Senior Leaders with various forms of administration work, diary organisation, minute taking and website maintenance. You will also work closely with the Chair of Governors organising by meetings, agendas and minute taking.
You will also be part of the school office team and cover the front office when needed. You will interact with staff, parents, pupils, governors and visitors and should always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
SIMS and Office 365 experience is desirable but training can be provided.
Hours are flexible and negotiable but we are looking in the region of 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday term time only for this role. During the working week, there will be the requirement to work at least one day till 5pm with most others finishing by 4pm. The governors have 10-12 meetings a year and these are usually held on a Monday evening, usually from 7pm.
As this is a new position, it is initially an 18-month contract, depending on the needs of the school this may become permanent.
