Welcome to our class page!

Bringing shadows to life with Kensuke's Kingdom

Still image for this video
We are learning about light and shadows in science and art this half term. These shadow puppet performances were all created by the children and relate to an exciting scene in our class reader: Kensuke's Kingdom.

A few reminders about Year 6...

Mondays and Wednesdays - English

Tuesdays and Thursdays - maths

You should spend approximately 30 minutes on homework tasks - if you finish quickly, practise more of the same by making up similar questions of your own.  All homework is due in the following day.

Don't forget, you can always log into My Maths or Purple Mash for extra online activities to keep your brain busy!

PE in Autumn 2:

Outside on Mondays and inside on Wednesdays.

Please bring kits in on Mondays and take them home to be washed on Fridays.

Every Y6 pupil knows the importance of staying hydrated during the day, so please make sure you all have a water bottle and that you take it home each night for a good clean.

Beautiful paintings inspired by Henri Rousseau's 'Surprised'.
