Class 4.1

Junk Percussion with Norden Farm

PE Days

The PE days for this term are as follows:

Tuesday - Indoor PE

Thursday - Outdoor PE

From time to time we have the opportunity to take part in additional sporting activities and so it is advised that the children bring their PE kit in on Monday and take it home on Friday for cleaning.

Homework                    Spelling day has been amended

In year 4 we set the following homework:

Wednesday - Spelling homework  - Yellow folder

The children take home their weekly spelling words and activity sheets.  We ask that the children learn their new spelling words and complete any unfinished activity sheets in time for the spelling test which takes place on the following Wednesday.

Friday - English homework -  Green folder/SPAG books

English homework this term will focus on spelling, punctuation and grammar.  Each week, the children will be asked to work through two sets of questions using their SPAG workbooks.  The workbooks must then be returned to school the following Tuesday.

Friday - Maths homework  - Red folder

Each week Maths homework is set either in the form of a computer based activity or paper based questions (when relevant both will be set). Maths homework is due to be handed in on the following Tuesday.
